OPEC countries increased oil production by 90 thousand bpd in June - up to 28.2 million bpd

According to the monthly report of the Ministry of Energy, OPEC countries increased oil production by 90 thousand barrels per day in June - up to 28.19 million bpd. At the same time, the OPEC countries participating in the OPEC+ deal to limit oil production, according to the "Interfax calculations", increased production by 25 thousand bpd, but it was still 1.9 million bpd below the quotas set by the deal - only 23.5 million bpd.

In addition, a number of OPEC+ countries voluntarily reduce production by another 1.66 mln bpd from May to December 2023 (of which OPEC countries - by 1 mln bpd): Saudi Arabia - by 500 thousand bpd, UAE - by 144 thousand bpd, Iraq - by 211 thousand bpd, Kuwait - by 128 thousand bpd, Algeria - by 48 thousand bpd, Gabon - by 8 thousand bpd.

Including voluntary reductions, OPEC countries participating in the OPEC+ deal are 0.865 million bpd behind the agreed levels.
