Yury Dudnikov, General Director of PJSC "Orsknefteorgsintez", took part in the extended meeting of the Management Board of the Regional Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Government of the Orenburg Region. The participants discussed the issues of increasing the efficiency of NGV fuel usage.
According to the press service of the Orenburg Regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the "People's Fuel" project was presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. This is a set of measures aimed at increasing demand for natural gas among the Russian population. This topic is relevant for the Orenburg region, as it has traditionally been among the leaders in terms of the number of vehicles per capita. At the same time, our region is rich in natural gas.
To encourage businesses and citizens to use NGV fuel, the Russian Government has adopted the program "Development of the NGV Fuel Market", which envisages an almost twofold increase in the number of gas filling stations by 1.5 times as early as in 2024.
The speeches of the regional government leaders and industrialists focused on the necessity of adopting the Program for increasing the efficiency of NGV fuel usage in the Orenburg Region.
