Orsk Museum supports the city's Museum of Local Lore

PJSC "Orsknefteorgsintez" provided financial assistance to the Museum of Local Lore within the framework of the charity program.
During summer vacations the museum is one of the most popular educational sites in the city for children. In addition to the main exposition, young local historians have access to the "School of Archaeologist" and "Russian Log Hut" development sites. Both interactive studios were equipped with support from the Orsk Oil Refinery.
– This year, a TV set for the "School of Young Archaeologist" was purchased at the plant's expense. The technology was simply necessary, as not all the materials can be presented to the general public because of the danger of their destruction. Now we can demonstrate absolutely all samples. As a rule, these are unique things found in the territory of the Orenburg region or Orsk, which cannot be found on the Internet, – explained Anastasia Simonova, Deputy Director for scientific and methodological work.
Since 2011, the "Russian Log Hut" site has been open for visitors. With the financial support of the plant, the location was enriched with the stove and the beautiful corner.
– We are very grateful to the management of PJSC "Orsknefteorgsintez" for their help in arranging such important sites. We invite all plant workers with their children to visit the Orsk Museum of Local Lore, –Anastasia Nikolaevna concluded.
