Upgrade

In May 2019, Afipka LLC, one of the largest oil refineries in the south of Russia, entered the management of Mikhail Gutseriev's SAFMAR Group. Under the management of ForteInvest, the company renewed the feed of crudes and completely restored production.

In addition, in the fall of 2019, the refinery began an active phase of upgrade - the construction of the main upgrade facility, the Vacuum Gas Oil Hydrocracking Complex began at the Afipka Refinery. The enterprise will use the experience of construction of the Hydrocracking Complex at the Orsk Refinery (part of the ForteInvest JSC), where its construction was successfully completed in the fall of 2018.

The construction of the Hydrocracking Complex is planned to be completed as soon as possible - by the 3rd quarter of 2022.

In addition to the construction of a hydrocracking complex, the upgrade program in the near future provides for the construction of a delayed coking unit (DCU).
